Yo Gabba Gabba Live

On Thanksgiving a friend sent me a link to living social with a deal to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. That is the one show Elinor will sit and watch. The only way we could drive anywhere was to put it on the iPad (she is better now and music is good enough). She is obsessed with her stuffed guys, her shirts and any Gabba book. Seriously she carries her Gabba shirts around the house with her.

This face...the whole time

We were so excited to see how she would do. As soon as we walked in and she saw them on posters, tshirts, toys, and more everywhere and she was so excited. She was pointing at everything and babbling. We found our seats pretty close to the stage and she started dancing to the music and pointing to the logo on the screen. When it started, it was just like the show on the big screen. Then confetti shot off in our faces and we couldn't see. Elinor started to cry! I felt awful. I hugged her and told her it's ok and to look at the guys that had just ran out and were dancing! She finally realized they were all right there and she was in awe! Her facial expression didn't change almost the entire time until the very end she pointed. During intermission she snapped out of it and was back to dancing and signing more please.

I brought her Muno from home which was such a good idea. Every kid around us was holding one and she was reaching for theirs until I pulled ours out.

We thought she was maybe too young to go but I think it was worth it. Dave and I had so much fun. I even teared up watching her face. I can't wait to see them next year!

  1. I have the best video of Elsie dancing to it so hard she hit her head on the chair in front of us and started to cry.
