Day trip

On Monday we took a quick day trip in NYC. Dave had some things to do and like always Elinor and I went along for the ride. We have taken day trips there before from Boston. Usually on weekends and it would take an entire day, leaving early and getting back after bed time.

This time coming from Philly was so easy! Obviously it is closer but also being Columbus Day helped too. We hit zero traffic all day. When does that ever happen?! We were back home by 2  

We went shopping, ate and went to a playground. Last time we were there I realized playgrounds on just about every corner. We had no problem finding an awesome one to play at after lunch before we headed back home.
