Wednesday was good
Yesterday started off so terrible. All of us were is terrible moods and it was pouring out. Elinor was being such a spirited one that I was second guessing going to ballet class. We have been taking turns bringing her but since we had errands to run after, all of us went. I just knew we were going to end up leaving class early with a screaming child.
We got to class and realized we forgot her slippers. I again was expecting a fit but she didn't even mind. The whole class she ignored Dave and I. She kept all of her attention on the teacher, following every direction. I couldn't believe it! I'm not sure what was different about today. Maybe we stepped back more than usual? Maybe she finally had enough to eat to make it through a class? Maybe her vitamin gave her an extra boost? Either way it was so sweet to see her standing next to her teacher following along.
It continued to be a great day. Elinor was awesome on all of our errands. She walked the whole time next to us and listened when it was time to do something else. Best of all, the sun came out and it almost reached 50 degrees! I felt like a whole new person. I just wanted to sit outside...if there weren't piles of puddling dirty snow everywhere.
Let's hope for more warm weather! At least so the snow hill on the side of our street melts and I can get in the car without climbing over the seat.
