hazelnut en croute

This Thanksgiving our dinner might have been the best ever! The Field Roast Stuffed Hazelnut Cranberry Roast was totally worth it. So many yummy flavors and plus it being wrapped in a puff pastry that was so perfect and flaky. Plus Dave's brother and sister in law went out of their way to make sure they made most of their sides vegan. They are the best!

While some cooking was still going on we played rock band and of course watched Elf.

We already made plans (well my mom did) to make all the same food for our Christmas dinner. I can't wait!

Thanksgiving Eve

Yay for leaving Tuesday night and missing a lot of traffic.

Today I made a vegan pumpkin pie and crocheted a hat! I feel so productive for not being home. We also ran a million errands with a couple breaks to eat at Blackbird Pizza and to get treats from Sweet Freedom Bakery! I took pictures I will post later. I had all intentions of making our fake turkey from scratch but we ran to whole foods and saw this
I figured mine would not come out as good as this guy looks and we got it. I can't wait to try it!
Everyone have a great Thanksgiving!
