Disney is actually prettying vegan friendly. We didn't have a hard time trying to eat at all. It also may have helped that Amanda was awesome and gave me a complete break down of each park, where to go and what to get.
Vegetarian platter at Restaurant Tangierine Cafe
Grab n Go sushi at sunshine seasons
babycakes in downtown disney
I joked around on instagram saying we were getting one of everything
I wasn't kidding
Tofu and broccoli in garlic sauce from a Chinese place that delivered to our resort
Tofu veggies and cashews
We really really wanted to go to Tusker House. They have an african themed buffet that is very veg friendly but we didn't make reservations. By the time we tried to go they weren't allowing anyone in for 4 hours unless you had reservations. Amanda told us the pizza place may have vegan cheese. Dave asked the manager and they brought out a huge book full of dietary needs. He said he saw vegan mac and cheese in the book too! We each got a vegan cheese pizza with veggies. It was really yummy and a lot bigger than everyones regular pizzas.
There was also a starbucks in our resort and my dad brought me iced coffee and a bagel every morning! Then my mom would make me the bagel with jam! Oh it was so nice. My dad had also found a place called Jerusalem Cafe. I thought we took pictures of our food from there but I can't find them. This place was amazing. The best grape leaves, hummus, pita bread, cous cous.....ever! we were all craving it the next day.
Today we are going to Philly for the weekend. One last trip before I go back to work soon. I can't wait to see everyone and for them to see how big Elinor has gotten. I hope I can schedule the next part of our Disney trip for tomorrow before we leave this afternoon.
Happy Friday!
Sounds like you guys had such a good time! I love all the photos. What a fun vacation for the little one!
