prize candle review

*I received a prize candle from Tastemaker Mom to review. Like always, all opinions and words are my own
I would have never thought there was anything like this but it's a real thing! I finally know what it's like to get a kinder egg or some cool limited toy that comes in an unmarked box.

Prize Candle contains a ring ranging from $10-$5,000. There are some beautiful rings out there. Trust me, I looked through all the #prizecandle on instagram while I was waiting for my candle to burn down enough. I was sent Adriatic Fig. They have a lot of other options like pumpkin spice (yes please!) but I was really pleasantly surprised with Adriatic Fig. It smelled like fall to me. The scent is light but still enough to smell through out our house. After a few hours, I started to see the prize pouch. I blew out the candle, grabbed a pair of pliers and pulled it out. My ring is a pretty blue color and fits my thumb. I read other people saying their rings are on the bigger side but I'm assuming it's easier to down size than have one too small. In the pouch is a little paper with a code to enter on the Prize Candle site. You enter your code to find out the appraisal on your ring. I wasn't a big winner but I am happy with my ring and Elinor was happy I was willing to share.
Prize Candle would be such a fun gift to give someone! I'm already wanting to order one and try again. I will at least wait until my candle is finished.

  3. And unlike lottery tickets, it's useful even if you get the cheaper prize ;)
