teaching next Sunday
I am teaching a power yoga class at Merge Dance Studio in Manayunk, Sunday the 15th at 5pm. This is perfect if you are looking to build strength, increase endurance, release tension, and create more flexibility. It is only $8 and for all levels.
Bring your mat/block/towel/water/whatever you need for your practice and come have fun!

singing all the time
My body hurts so bad!! We did a lot at our Sunday teacher training class and then the power yoga class after training was even harder. It might just be because this is my first week back without back pain and I was able to go for it. It also may be that our bed and pillows are terrible. We really need to find a new mattress soon. That's another post though.
I have to steal pictures from Dave for their weekend post but for now here are some funny Vines of Elinor...

The Adventures of Elinor and Daddy
Now that I have classes all weekend, Elinor and Dave will be spending a lot more time one on one. I'm so happy that they will have special time together. Whenever she starts to spend a little more time with him than me she starts to favor him which will bum me out a little. He is a lot more fun than me though so I can't blame her.
On Sunday, he took her to Longwood Gardens. They spent most their time in the conservatory. There is a children's section with water play and I heard she soaked herself and made a new friend. Sounds like a great day! After Longwood, Dave dropped her off at pop pops and came to take a power yoga class with me. It was his first class but he liked it. He better get used to it since I need to practice my teaching on him every night.
Maybe next week I can get Dave to write about their weekend adventures.
Last Saturday he took her to the Penn Museum for some Chinese new year celebrations. Since he was born in the year of the horse and she is 2, they both got in free for the day! He said that she really liked the traditional dancing and music demonstrations, but was afraid when it came time for the dragon dance and loud drumming that went with it. She just recently started being nervous about random things.
Maybe next week I can get Dave to write about their weekend adventures.
