love mini me yoga

Elinor and I just finished a week of Love mini me yoga challenge on instagram. She loves climbing all over me when I start to practice. It's so amazing to see her actually do the poses. She can do so much more than I think. I really would like to put together a little class for her to do at least once a week.
I love looking through the hashtags and seeing all the parents with babies to adults doing these poses. Do you practice yoga? Does your child love to climb all over you too?

after we finished one of our poses, she got back on the mat and tried it by herself. I love it!

polagram photobook

*Polagram sent us this book for free but all opinions and words are my own.
I always want to print out pictures of Elinor. I've downloaded some apps only to find out you can only use pictures on your camera roll. I take a lot of pictures. Too many. I have to dump all my pictures on Dave's computer and start again pretty often and I'm left with an empty camera roll.
Polagram allows you to use pictures from instagram and facebook. I was able to make a book of Elinor in minutes by just scrolling through my instagram. I used pictures from the day she was born up to the day I made the book. Only using 26 pictures I made an amazing hardcover book of her whole life so far.
The pictures are such good quality and take up a good amount of the page. It is so perfect for her to flip through. She requests to read her Elinor book all day long.

Polagram has some new products too that look just as cool. 8x8 or 8x10 big prints, posters, and phone cases. I think a poster to hang on her wall of all her adventures would be fun too. Feel free to use my promo code PGTQ3ALK if you decide to order. You will receive 2 euros off your order.

where's my list

I don't know where the days keep going. We have been enjoying our backyard, the neighborhood, yoga classes/practice and no nap times. Which makes it hard to find a time to write. I have a ton of half written posts that I'm not sure if I can finish because I'm not sure where I was going with them. Drafting late at night on my phone will do that to you.
I'm loving teaching my class and assisting at the studio. I'm working on adding some more classes to teach in my schedule. Elinor and I started a mama and mini yoga challenge on instagram. I show her the picture of the day from the host mamas and their minis and she is ready to try it. She even did her first Warrior I pose the other day and Warrior II yesterday. I'm a proud mama! I keep looking for tiny yoga clothes but I can't find any for size 2T. Anyone have any ideas??
Our family picture day was cancelled last week. We rescheduled for next week though! I honestly don't even know where our real camera is. We should probably find that guy and start using him again.

I think I need to get back to my word of the year, list. Life has been extremely busy and packed. Making more lists of our current, upcoming and maybe activities would be a huge help but why is it so hard to do it?!

backbend challenge

Are you on instagram? It's my favorite and easiest of social medias (for me at least). I have found so many amazing yogis on there that are so inspiring. In finding them, I have caught on to all of the monthly challenges. I half tried an inversion challenge but since I wasn't posting pictures, I didn't keep up with it. I have loved the backbend challenge and just started "yoga to the core" for April. I practice every day anyway and it is nice to throw some of these poses into my practice. A lot of them I didn't think I could do. It was so amazing to push myself and see results.

Here are my pictures from the backbend challenge

I love that the last day was a resting pose.
This was also the first time I dropped back into wheel from standing. It wasn't pretty but I did it!

Have you ever tried a challenge on instagram?

friday links

My friend Stacy found out she is a carrier of the brca 1 genetic mutation (the breast cancer gene). She is blogging about her journey on getting both a preventive oophorectomy (ovary removal surgery), mastectomy and reconstruction. She is a very funny and passionate person so I know this will be a great blog!

Looking for pretty jewelry on Etsy? How about these ones? The family is raising money for their adoption.

If you are on Instagram, head over to mine and like this picture. If we get the most likes we can win a gift card to Whole Foods!

Sunday we leave for Disney World! We are excited to go again and see my parents. I have been studying up this list of 101 best Disney World tips. Also

Vegan Pumpkin Waffles??

10 homemade gluten, egg and dairy free candy bars! We will be trying some of these out.

I plan on making a lot of gifts for Christmas this year. Since I need to start planning, I found a link on patterns for felt foods. They would be perfect to add to Elinor's kitchen set.

H&M now has 50% off all clearance items. I've found so many great things for Elinor there including her butterfly wings and pink hat (each ended up only being around $2) that she wears EVERYWHERE! She picked both out...here we go.
She seriously has brought both to bed with her.

Lastly, look at this little baby from last October!

fourth st shop

I have been asked to make some special orders. I was excited to try something new.
newborn yoda hat
2 scarves. 1 ribbed and 1 chunky

I'm working on something now that is taking FOREVER! Partly because I have to pay full attention while I'm working on it and Elinor does not like that. I hope when I finish it comes together because right now I'm not too sure.

As soon as I finish that, I plan on working on more animal hats for the shop. Maybe in time for next winter!

fourth st shop

While cleaning closets the other day I found a lot of vintage baby and mama clothes, different bows/flowers/hats that I've crocheted, and other goodies that people may want. I decided to start a new instagram over at Fourthstshop. I will be posting pictures soon of everything. If anyone is interested head over there, take a look and maybe even follow.
I will be posting each batch here too, so if you see something you want and you don't have instagram you will still have a chance.

Before I start posting items, I decided to do a small giveaway. I have 2 (one red, one white and silver) flower hair clips to giveaway. To enter to win you can...

sleeping baby

I barely open my computer anymore. Good thing I got an iphone. I can check other blogs (sometime), instagram, and other little things to pass the time. Also taking pictures with my phone has been so much easier than taking the camera out. So pretty much I always have baby in one hand and my phone in the other.
She was sleeping pretty good only waking up 2, 5 and 8. Then the last two nights she wants to party all night. But she is the cutest when she is awake so it is easy to wake up and talk and sing to her at 3am.

We ran out of newborn diapers and the size 1s seemed too big still so I tried out her cloth diapers. They fit and she wore one for about a hour before exploding. They made Dave a little nervous because her tiny little legs had some space and he thought she was going to pee on him.

Tomorrow morning we go pick my sister up from the airport so she can meet Elinor. Also she is babysitting for us that night so we can go to this
I'm so sad about leaving her for a night but I know my sister will cuddle her all night and Ellie will probably think it's me anyway...we kind of look alike.  It's going to be such an exciting day/night for the both of us!

new phone

My birthday isn't until the 26th but I Dave already gave me my gift. I've been telling him I want an iphone for a long time but with the new one he decided he finally wanted one too. He got himself one a week ago and then got one for me yesterday! He is the best, I love that guy! I guess it is really hard to get a new one. I'm so excited to be able to take fast pictures and videos of the baby on my phone!

Of course instagram was one of the first things I had to download. (follow me! fourthstpayphone)

What are some other apps I need?
