I've been cooking

Since I haven't been posting my "I like food" posts, I've had the same tabs open on my computer for so long. They are the same recipes I've been making usually once a week. I do this a lot because I know once I bookmark them, they will be lost in a sea of recipes forever. Unless! I blog about them and then can easily find them by searching. So really this post is for me...and I guess you can benefit from it too.

Apple Cider Donuts by Peas and Thank You
Potato Leek Soup by Oh Dear Drea
Curried Chicken Salad by Fitnessista with this one I used one pack of Gardein chicken strips to sub for real chicken. I actually had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't real meat as I was shredding it. I might have gagged a little. I also just used plain soy yogurt.

Tomorrow morning we are heading to the cape for Thanksgiving. I think I will make apple cider donuts for our drive!

  1. It looks like Elinor is enjoying your cooking! Aren't those apple cider donuts so good? I'll have to try those other recipes. We just started getting the chicken strips when we were sick. They were easy meals for the girls & they're pretty good!

    1. That's been her EVERY night! As soon as she starts eating she rubs it in her ears then hair and face. Tonight she held a clementine above her head and squeezed it...awesome
