randoms

I was going through the pictures on my phone and deleting things. I thought I would share a couple of them...
Huge spider we saw on a walk
pretty flowers in a community garden in harvard sq
saw this by some dorms in harvard?
in a craft store, Dorie pointed to this box and said I think that's a picture of you
opossum at the museum of science
night at crane beach
we took some maternity pictures I will share soon but here is our baby shower invites!

I am finally carless!! I was afraid to do it just in case but I never use it and it was just sitting in our lot wasting away. I donated it to cars for breast cancer. I told my mom I was wanting to junk or donate it and she sent me the link. It was so simple and within a day they were here towing it away.

There is a super cute website I just found out about. Heard on the playground is little stories of silly things kids say. I could read them forever, kids are hilarious.

Today I am 32 weeks pregnant and I have a Dr appointment. Then next week I have hopefully my last level 2 ultrasound and can be completely cleared. We were told last time everything looks great but they wanted to do one last check on her growth. I feel like she is running out of room in there and I don't know how my belly can get any bigger!

fun day and a little rant

When I got home lastnight there was just a little bit of sunlight left to try and get a picture. Ignore our gross porch. The snow only recently melted and we haven't touched our little planters(or even the porch) since we first got hit with snow.

Today we went to the Science Museum. The one in Boston is so huge! It's awesome having a membership so we don't have to try to fit it all in one day. We stayed for a super long time, ate lunch and headed home.

On a packed train ride home some high school girls were sitting next to us gossiping very loudly which is fine but they kept cursing. The first time one did it she realized there was a child next to her and said oops and laughed. As they got more into their stories they completely forgot there was a little girl sitting right next to them and every other word was worst than the last. I'm not one to speak up ever but when I am in charge of Dorie I don't want her exposed to things she shouldn't be hearing about. I finally asked them very nicely if they would please watch their language. They looked and each other gave me a dirty look and laughed. That all happened within one stop. They continued on for another stop (cursing less but still couldn't contain themselves) then got off.
Really someone asked you nicely to watch what you are saying in front of a child and you can't for just 2 stops?

It didn't ruin our day though! We still had fun and even read a bunch of new books we had got from the library before nap.

Birthday at MOS

Last Wednesday was Dorie's birthday. Dave and I took her to the Museum Of Science. We had planned on going to pick berries but it was raining so bad she decided MOS was a better choice and we agreed (with the big 3 yr old)! We got there pretty late and with only about 2 hours before nap time we didn't get to see everything except her favorite parts.

For her birthday she told me she wanted me to make a fox dress. I had made her a crab dress and a fox one for my niece which she saw. That was months ago but she remembered.
Fox dress made by me! Fabric from Ikea
