Elinor's day/Topsfield Fair

A couple of weeks ago we had planned to go with Lynn, Garvey, Jesse and Mike to Topsfield Fair. I had been slacking on sending pictures of Elinor to Dave so as soon as she woke up I took a picture of (almost) everything we did. Here is a day in the life of Elinor...

Potty time and breakfast

Favorite thing to do, pulling books off the shelves. Getting dressed, every time I put her on her table she points and dances until I sing ABC's to her while pointing every letter out.

Lynn found a nursing trailer. Inside there was a sign to please take a homemade bear. She picked a flowery pink one. Huge pumpkin!

She was asleep for the dogs jumping into water but woke up for the practice round. She couldn't believe it!

Back home for a quick dinner of grapes and leftover pizza, while still holding a toy.

I wish Dave could have been there with us. I know he loved seeing this many pictures of Ellie through out the day. I hope everyone else does too! 

Florida part 5 and a video

Last one! and it is the best. We took Elinor swimming for the first time. We went after Animal Kingdom for a little bit and again the next day. She loved it. She just kicked her little legs and looked around at everything. The resort had a lazy river we went through once too. I wish I didn't have to wait till she is 6 months for her to take lessons at the Y. I think she is going to be a water baby.

Dave took this one on the plane on the way home. She kept kicking her foot up on the armrest while I was feeding her. 

We had such a great trip. I was nervous before we left about everything and thought it might not be a good idea to go. It so relaxing for all of us. We needed to get away for a little bit on a none music related vacation.

I barely open my computer anymore. Good thing I got an iphone. I can check other blogs (sometime), instagram, and other little things to pass the time. Also taking pictures with my phone has been so much easier than taking the camera out. So pretty much I always have baby in one hand and my phone in the other.

She was sleeping pretty good only waking up 2, 5 and 8. Then the last two nights she wants to party all night. But she is the cutest when she is awake so it is easy to wake up and talk and sing to her at 3am.

We ran out of newborn diapers and the size 1s seemed too big still so I tried out her cloth diapers. They fit and she wore one for about a hour before exploding. They made Dave a little nervous because her tiny little legs had some space and he thought she was going to pee on him. 

Tomorrow morning we go pick my sister up from the airport so she can meet Elinor. Also she is babysitting for us that night so we can go to this

I'm so sad about leaving her for a night but I know my sister will cuddle her all night and Ellie will probably think it's me anyway...we kind of look alike.  It's going to be such an exciting day/night for the both of us!
