Florida part 4

Ok, only one more Florida post after this I swear! The last park we went to was Animal Kingdom. I wasn't too impressed but we were told we just went on a bad day. It was insanely packed and hot. We didn't seem to see too many animals but now looking through the pictures I guess we did.

 On the safari ride the giraffes decided to cross the rode in front of us and wouldn't move. They were so close

Marshfield Fair

Last year Dorie and I went to the Marshfield Fair with Lynn. This year we took Dave and met up with Lynn and Pete. With traffic we got there later than we wanted but without realizing it we stayed until it closed. It was like a casino with no clocks and bright lights.
We went straight for the animals. I swore we took more pictures but I guess not. Also the ones we took weren't the best 

 I was really excited about the porcupine! 

 and the kangaroo. There was a joey in her pouch but she wouldn't turn around long enough to get a picture

 Lynn was the best and took Dorie on this crazy ride since I couldn't and Dave hates rides. It went back and forth and spun in circles...she loved it

Last ride of the night, Dorie was in one of the cars. She talked about going on the ferris wheel the whole ride there but when we stood in front of it she said yea I really don't think I want to try it today.


I thought she would fall asleep on the ride home but she talked nonstop the whole way. Mostly about the monkey balloon we got before we left.

Marshfield Fair

Yesterday I went to the Marshfield Fair with Lynn and Dorie. (Dorie is the little girl I nanny)
This was probably the biggest fair I've ever been to. We were there for I think over 2 hours and didn't get to see everything. I'm pretty sure all of our favorite part was the barn. We got to pet cows, pigs, rabbits, goats and more. They were also parading some cows through the crowd.

Dorie got to milk and cutout of a cow. She was very proud of herself.

We went on the merry go round, ate fries and they had chicken tenders and they shared one of these cupcakes. I think Lynn got a caramel apple cupcake yummm.

By the time the figure 8 race started it was about time to go. We watched one race, got a balloon and headed home. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the Topsfield Fair!

Dave got a similar shirt to this last time he was in Japan. It had cows and milk and burgers at the table :( So sad
