 Maybe some day when we take these pics Elinor will be happy. She gets such a serious face every time! This is another dress I got from the modcloth sale. It's low cut enough so I can feed her but I should wear a tank under next time. From pulling on it all day it stretched out a little.

I'm so excited because I haven't been shopping in forever. I'm still not quite sure what size I will need in things but I will wing it. Hopefully if anything I buy is too small I will fit into it soon! 

Lovely Legacy Earrings

How pretty are these earrings?? When I got them a couple of weeks ago courtesy of Modcloth, I was so excited to wear something pretty since I've been feeling down about clothes lately. I wish I had a purple ribbon to wear with the black dress to match them but I think the tan still goes together nicely. Once my hair gets a little longer it will look so pretty to wear my hair back with them. I don't wear earrings often and they were a lot bigger than I expected but I think they would have looked a little silly if they were any smaller. Now I just need to find a pretty necklace to match them!

I love Modcloth and Lulu's! I can always find something I want on both sites. I do need to be saving money though since I just had to get my car fixed and next month is full of trips including one to Iceland!!! I haven't been on a real vacation (not music related) since I was in high school.

As soon as I got this dress and put it on I realized something amazing....the zipper in the back is big enough to grab ahold of myself. Usually I'm twisting around wildly trying to zip it up. There are dresses I can't even think about wearing unless Dave is home to help me zip them up. 

I was worried about getting a small because with higher cut dresses sometimes there isn't enough room in the chest, especially with the pintuck bodice.  I thought it would pull and just look like I'm busting out  but it fit perfect.  Also I love having pockets in any dress!  The only down side I have found is with the zipper rubbing against my spine when I'm sitting.  Next time I wear it I will make sure to wear an undershirt and that should fix the problem!

My Mom is here visiting! She said she had to see me to celebrate my 30th birthday! eekkkk I'm going to be 30 soon. Not until the 26th though. Since I was off today (Thanks to all the amazing Veterans including my Dad and brother!) we spent the whole day getting mani/pedis, shopping and getting her hair cut. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow.

I wanted to get a picture of my outfit all day but kept forgetting so when Dave got home I made him take one. Notice we finally cleaned out the dining room and set up our table and chairs again! We often have to fold them up and away to make room for the huge amounts of records/cds/shirts we always have coming in and out. I will try to remember to take a picture of it set up!

We went back to the little garden across from our house but this time there were a lot of people around and I felt awkward.

I wasn't willing to stand around and get a decent enough picture so I rushed Dave to take a couple. Anyway this is one of the dresses I got from the ModCloth last hurrah sale. It is really light and comfortable. I love it!

Last post

Hopefully this will be my last post full of cell phone and photo booth pictures. Dave comes home tomorrow!! I'm very excited.

A couple weeks ago I wrote about ModCloth shoes I wanted. Well my Mom went ahead and ordered me some for my birthday! My birthday isn't until November but I will accept early presents! I love these boots. They are super comfy easy to walk in. When I get the real camera back I will take a proper picture of them.

Yesterday I was on a mission to find record frames from every Target. Lynn and Garvey called while I was out asking if I wanted to go play mini golf. I dropped what I was doing and met up with them.

They were both a little sleepy from being at the casino till early that morning which was a little funny but we had fun.

After we came back to Salem ate some hotdogs and they got Ritas. Then we came back to my house and watched Matilda and Home Alone 2 (we are apparently 12). I kept talking about lime rickeys so finally we walked up the street to get some.
