I hate washing my hair. I maybe wash it once a week. I do shower! I just hate the whole process of washing my hair. Because of this, I have tried so many brands of dry shampoo. Some I like a lot but they run out quick. Some are powder and work great but it's hard to get those white spots out of your hair. "Dave, did I rub all the dry shampoo in good enough or are there white spots?" "Nope you're good". Then way later in the day I realize half my head has white powder all over it. 

Influenster sent me a Target Spring Preview box. Mine included a can of Urban Fudge Dry Shampoo. Should I be worried how well they know me? Either way I was super excited to try it. Not even knowing the last time I washed my hair, I tried it out that day. I posted my after on instagram because I was embarrassed of my before. I hadn't brushed my hair and didn't even get all of it in the picture because I just wanted to try it out. This is probably how my hair looks everyday since I don't really pay attention to it.

I contrasted the last picture so you can actually see my hair. So soft and not greasy! So far I am loving this. My hair smells so good after using it too. Like coconuts and the beach. The problem I've had with spray dry shampoo was it running out too fast. I will let you guys know how long this lasts but it didn't seem like I needed many spritz to cover my hair and I have really thick hair. I sprayed it on, waited 2 minutes and then brushed my hair. No styling products, no straightening, no curling and all the powder was gone.

I'm such a sucker for anything that says vegan on it. I feel like I need to support any brand that makes a vegan option. Yesterday I was at Target with the two babies running a couple of errands. When I have both of them I try to be as fast as I can because I never know when they are going to be done with sitting there. We made a trip down the baby aisle and I found vegan friendly baby snacks to buy myself some more time. I ran down some grocery aisle for a couple of things. Going down the wrong aisle I saw a box that said vegan. It was small and at the bottom but the packaging caught my eye.  I bought all three. I was shopping on an empty stomach.

GoPicnic makes all healthy meals to go. On their site you can find options for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and kosher diets. I hope Target keeps these in stock. I'm still so excited they sell Gardein! Now if only Whole Foods in MA would get better vegan baked goods! How come Ohio has better blueberry muffins than us??

This weekend Dave somehow got food poisoning. As bad as I felt, I was so so happy I didn't get it too. There was only one thing he ate that I didn't so we are assuming that was it. While he was sleeping and trying to feel better, I kept seeing everyone post all the cute Jason Wu outfits they were getting from target. I had checked Targets website way earlier when things were still in stock and decided I didn't really like anything but later when everyone posted their pictures I changed my mind. 

I haven't drove alone with Elinor yet and I still have been sitting in the backseat with her. I decided today was a good day to test out driving alone. She was in a super good mood all day and it's not too long of a drive.

Lynn called right before I left and told me she found the shirt I wanted in a large and was going to grab it for my in case I didn't find one! She's the best. I had to get Dave some sick essentials like ginger ale and crackers anyway so Ellie and I set out.

She did so good on the ride! Only once I had to reach back and give her her pacifier again. I ended up finding the shirt I wanted in a Medium which (yay!) fit and grabbed another nursing tank. 

Last time I went shopping I tried on a large shirt and it didn't fit (so depressing). I started working out last week. I just have been doing the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. I recently found this about 5 exercises to do with your baby that I plan on starting to do also. Ugh I can't wait to walk into a store and just know what size I am! 

38 weeks

These pictures are from a couple of days ago. I wanted something comfy to wear. A lot of my maternity shirts don't completely fit over my belly anymore. I told Dave I felt like I was dressed like an art teacher. All I needed was a big wooden beaded necklace.

We also went to Target the other day to run some errands. I glanced through the baby stuff but since I've been trying not to spend money I wasn't really looking. Then I saw the Harajuku Mini display. I thought it would all be gone by now but I found this...

sooo tired

Before we went out the other day I had Dave take a couple pictures inside. Can you tell how tired I am? or how big my belly is?? I think I need to work on taking naps.

Most of my shirts now show the bottom of my belly...even the maternity ones! I found a H&M gift card I had saved up from Christmas last year and bought a pair of jeans. I made the mistake of not trying them on so I had to return them for a dress instead and cute baby hat with ears of course. I think I will wear the dress to our baby shower Sunday!

Nursery tour

I've been up for way too long already this morning so since I'm up I will finally post the nursery pictures. I could have done better and I will probably retake some after our shower next weekend. Since taking these the glider is now in the livingroom and the changing table is pushed over. The huge shelf in there for now is full of Dave's side business but as soon as baby can move/crawl the rows will slowly be replaced with books and toys. The room is pretty small but perfect for the little one.

Her closet is fully stocked with amazing gifts and hand me downs from awesome friends and family. I even have had her bassinet set up next to our bed that Dave's mom bought us for months. You never know, she might come early! But most likely not.

Last weekend we went to a friends birthday party. I thought this shirt fit ok but as soon as we got there someone told me I was busting out of it...that shirt is now in the pile of maybe next year.
I actually painted my own toes before we left too! I was planning to get a pedi but never had time to go. Since I was wearing shoes that it mattered I squished the baby leaning over and painted them. They actually turned out decent but next time I will have to ask Dave to do it.

Dave said I was looking miserable in all the other pictures so I smiled for the last one. These were taken by a pond near our new house. There is a cute little playground on the other side of the pond that I bet we will end up going to a lot next year!
Today I'm in my third trimester! It seems like it has gone by so fast. On a weekly guide of what I should be getting ready for it says this week I should find a doctor for the baby....really?? already?? At least a friend referred us to where they go so hopefully they are excepting new patients.
Obviously you can see this baby is growing fast and will be here in no time. I did find a couple more old outfits that will still fit over this belly and Lynn took my to forever 21 in Burlington Mall and I found cheap maternity skinny jeans! In the last blog I did complaining about fitting into things, Jennifer suggested sizing up. I ended up finding a really cute higher waisted dress for $10 a couple sizes bigger at H&M that fits perfect! Thanks again Jennifer!

I only got around to taking outfit pictures once while we were away. It's not like I had anything super cute on anyway. I'm finding it harder and harder to put together outfits especially from clothes I already have. NOTHING FITS!! I'm trying to not buy a lot of maternity clothes but I also don't want to wear the same thing everyday. So many cute pregnant ladies pull it off so nicely but I guess I didn't have too many loose flowing clothes to start with.

Friday I got my hair cut finally. I'm going to be going back to this salon to get my hair to a better color and get it back into better condition(not breaking and frizzing). At least it is right across the street from me! and they are super friendly and helpful.

My eyes started to swell again today but this time I had some eye drops for allergies. I wish I knew what I am suddenly allergic to that makes this happen.

This week is pretty boring. Just waiting for Dave to get back. The last week always seems to take forever! At least I'm still managing to workout (I even ran this morning!) and try to dress decent. Sometimes when he is gone I give up and become super lazy on both accounts.

Minus the dress everything I bought on Saturday. The knee highs came in a pack of 6 for $9! I love them but thought with just one leg with tattoos it would look awkward. I think it might look ok? Also the shoes I found at payless but they didn't have my size. I asked if they had any in back and she looked them up and found them at the mall right down the street (which we were planning on going to next anyway). She also gave me a $3 coupon for having to go to another store. Oh and they were on sale on top of that!

 

I wore this Sunday but only went out grocery shopping so I wore it again today. Instead of knee highs and heels I wore it with legging and cowboy boots. I didn't get a picture this morning but I got them from the girls dept at Target.

Dave comes home in exactly a week!

I got this dress from American Apparel last year. I love it but I feel self conscious in it except when it's worn with leggings. I really wanted to wear it yesterday so I paired it with a skirt. I'm really new at this but I'm trying so I can have more options.
